Woven Wheels

In celebration of Nashville’s Transit Month, Justin Near upcycled an old Mongoose trick bicycle wheel by weaving it with some of Dunn Spunn‘s beautiful hand-dyed and hand-carded roving. We’ve since expanded a great deal from there, upcycling any ol’ bike wheel – or corn planter wheel – that we can get our hands on. Many of the wheels can’t be used anymore and come from the bike shop at Eastside Cycles in East Nashville. These wheels come in a variety of sizes, shapes, colors, etc.
