Wooly Baseballs

April 22, 2015 Justin

Wooly BaseballDo you know someone who likes to knit and watch baseball? Perfect gift! Need to massage someone’s back or legs or feet? Perfect gift!

Yes, it’s a baseball made from a sheep and a tennis ball.

Wet-felted and hand-stitched by Justin Near of Nashville, the raw, undyed roving (clean and carded wool sheared from a sheep) comes directly from Three Creeks Farm in Charlotte, TN. The tennis ball is upcycled from Vanderbilt University, purchased at The Cat Shoppe & Dog Store in Berry Hill with proceeds going directly to their Rescue Fund.

Play ball!
